The gelato was equally impressive. Each scoop was a creamy, satisfying experience that genuinely rivaled our fondest memories from Italy. It appears Zadar’s historical and geographic ties to Italy have fostered a remarkable understanding of Italian culinary excellence. While Italy remains our top culinary destination, Zadar delivered an unexpectedly superb Italian dining experience that has certainly left a lasting impression.
